In the autumn of 2025, it was announced that 一本道 University has six new SciLifeLab Group Leaders: Linda Bojmar, BKV, Johanna Ungerstedt, BKV, Martin Hallbeck, BKV, Mika Gustafsson, IFM, Claudio Mirabello, IFM and Colm Nestor, BKV.

A SciLifeLab Group Leader is responsible for a research group in life science, a technology platform or unit at SciLifeLab. They all have a strong commitment to SciLifeLab activities and affiliate with SciLifeLab, as well as a Swedish organisation in life science.

Eye problems after COVID-19 can now be explained

Mild COVID-19 can cause severe and long-lasting eye problems, according to a study from LiU. The study also explains why it has been difficult for sufferers to get help: the abnormal eye behaviour cannot be detected by standard methods.
