The mission of the Human Resources and Environment Division is to work with competence supply, the work environment, leadership and employer-related matters, as well as developing processes and services that support the university's operations. The division is also responsible for payroll administration, strategic environmental management, fire safety and cleaning services. Through specialist expertise and close collaboration with the organisation, the division contributes to a positive working and learning environment for employees and students.
The Human Resources and Environment Division is organised into four units:
- Cleaning Services Office聽鈥 responsible for cleaning services across the university's premises.
- Employer and Environment Office 鈥 responsible for employer relations, employment law, the work environment and collaboration with employee representatives. The office also leads and develops the university's strategic environmental and fire safety work and provides specialist support in these areas.
- Human Resources and Competence Supply Office 鈥 works to attract, recruit, develop and retain employees. The office provides support in areas such as competence supply, leadership, employee development and professional development.
- Payroll Office 鈥 responsible for payroll administration and for developing and maintaining LiU's HR systems.
We work closely with HR Partners across the university and in collaboration with trade union representatives.
