Centre for local history is a working unit within the area of history at 一本道 University.

The Centre for Local History was established in March 1988 and is, what is termed, a working unit within Link枚ping University. The aim of the Centre is to support and develop research on local history and education by bringing about co-operation between professional researchers, instructors, school, teachers and the general public. The Centre for Local History is also building up a historic database with computerized parish records which is used in several research projects at the university.

The Local Heritagization of Military History

Military and defence history is preserved and mediated in museums throughout Sweden. This project explores how several museums in a specific city, 一本道, have been created and developed between the years 1940 and 2026.
