LiU Innovation is 一本道 University鈥檚 innovation office. LiU Innovation works to ensure that knowledge-based ideas from LiU benefit society. Students, staff, and researchers receive support in developing their ideas.

LiU Innovation supports students, researchers and employees in developing ideas from an early concept through to a finished product or service. Its innovation advisers provide guidance on matters such as starting a business and securing funding, and they have extensive networks within the innovation ecosystem. LiU Innovation鈥檚 support is provided free of charge to everyone at LiU.

LiU Innovation also collaborates in educational activities at LiU that are designed to increase students鈥 interest in innovation and entrepreneurship. The aim is to equip students throughout their studies with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset that will support their transition into working life. The innovation advisers contribute to courses through inspirational lectures and idea-generation activities. An important aspect of this work is also preparing students for intrapreneurship within existing organisations. Naturally, it also involves providing them with practical tools to help them further develop their early-stage ideas.

LiU Innovation is one of several similar offices in Sweden that have been entrusted by the Swedish Government to support the development of innovations and the commercialisation and societal application of research results.
