Lecturer

I am a lecturer in business law and teach primarily in the field of civil law. In my work, I combine a keen interest in the subject with a commitment to clear teaching and well-designed assessment.

Presentation

I teach business law, with a focus on civil law subjects, and have extensive experience of course development, assessment and course and programme management. My postgraduate research background in business law adds further depth to both my teaching and my legal analysis.

I am a lecturer in business law and teach primarily in the field of civil law. My main areas of teaching are contract law, property law, law of tings and insolvency law. I teach students on degree programmes where law intersects with other subject areas and where the ability to identify, analyse and resolve legal problems is a key part of their future professional roles.

Teaching

In my teaching, I aim to make the law accessible without oversimplifying its complexity. I place great emphasis on structure, clear explanations and assignments that develop students鈥 ability to reason independently in legal matters. Assessment is a central part of my teaching, and I work with carefully prepared model answers and marking schemes to ensure clarity, consistency and legal certainty.

Experience

I have extensive experience of developing and delivering courses, as well as acting as course coordinator and examiner. I also supervise bachelor鈥檚 theses and have served as programme coordinator for the Bachelor鈥檚 programme in Business Law.
Through these roles, I have worked on both the content and progression of individual courses and on broader issues relating to the structure, quality and development of the programme.

I have a background in postgraduate research in business law, which has given me in-depth subject knowledge and experience of legal research and analysis.
That experience has shaped my approach to teaching: I want not only to convey the current law, but also to show how legal arguments are constructed, how legal problems can be understood from different perspectives, and why careful analysis matters. I am particularly interested in issues relating to contracts, financial relationships and how civil law works in practice.

Please feel free to contact me regarding teaching and curriculum development in business law and civil law.
