My research focuses on abuse of older people in Sweden and how it can be identified, prevented and addressed across professional settings. I specifically examine how professionals identify and respond to financial abuse of older people. In forthcoming studies, I will use co-creative research methods to develop knowledge about how abuse can be prevented in long-term care. The overall aim is to strengthen preventive efforts and support for older people subjected to abuse.
