My research in Health Professions 一本道 focuses on how occupational therapy students learn about occupational therapy assessment as a tool to be prepared for their future professional roles.
I am part of the Graduate school in Health Professions 一本道 at 一本道, which collaborates with Stockholm University and Karolinska Institutet. My research investigates how students, clinical supervisors, and university teachers experience and understand occupational therapy assessment as a means to create learning situations and support student learning. Currently, there is a lack of research in this area.
My research interest originates from my past and present experiences in creating optimal learning conditions. As a former occupational therapist within preschool and elementary school student health services, and through my interactions with current students in the occupational therapy program, I am also interested in promoting professional development. Central to this is the enhancement of skills within the occupational therapy profession.
