I teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme, primarily in Semester 3, where I serve as Associate Course Coordinator. I am also an instructor in Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals and supervise undergraduate theses and degree projects.
I completed my PhD in December 2025. My doctoral research focused on cognitive function and health among survivors of cardiac arrest.
A substantial part of my work is devoted to research as a postdoctoral researcher within the national research programme APPEAL. The programme aims to investigate violence, abuse, and neglect against older people aged 65 years and over, with the long-term goal of preventing such experiences and improving support and care for those affected.
My current research includes a national survey study examining staff experiences of violence, abuse, and neglect in residential care facilities and home care services. I am also involved in an intervention study in which care staff, older residents, family members, and researchers collaborate to develop and evaluate approaches for preventing violence and abuse and strengthening support for older people exposed to these experiences.
