Associate Professor

I work with teaching in physiotherapy. I am passionate about teaching. Making a subject interesting and understanding students' difficulties to promote learning is one of my strengths. My research fields are low back pain and dizziness.

Presentation

I teach in the physiotherapy program and am also responsible for the advanced course on pain and pain management.

My dissertation deals with the implementation and broad evaluation of a physiotherapeutic model care program for low back pain (BetterBack). Further studies have continued to evaluate the BetterBack care program, which has been recognized as the best-evaluated care program for back pain, with evaluations at the provider, patient, and organisational levels, where the implementation is also based on established theories ().

I have continued to research low back pain with a focus on guideline implementation and now also in the area of dizziness and students' perception of AI. I work one day a week as a physiotherapist in primary care.
