Axel Hedström

Associate Professor

I am an assistant professor researching energy economics and finance. Using econometric methods, I study how institutional factors and markets influence the energy transition. Through historical data, I analyse its variability and complexity.

The Financial Economics research group studies financial market dynamics and their links to the economy. We focus on energy finance, sustainable investments, systemic risk, and macro-financial stability nationally and internationally.
