Seminars in Statistics and Mathematical Statistics

The Division of Statistics and Machine Learning together with Applied Mathematics (Department of Mathematics) host the research seminar series 鈥淪eminar Series in Statistics and Mathematical Statistics鈥�.

At our seminars internationally and nationally recognised statisticians present new research. Previous speakers include researchers such as Professor Hiroki Masuda (Kyushu University), Professor Ingemar Kaj (Uppsala University) and Professor Fredrik Ronquist (Stockholm University) to name a few.

The seminars are held once a month, usually on a Tuesday, at 15.15 - 16:15 in or , Building B, Campus Valla, Link枚ping.

The Division of Statistics and Machine Learning (STIMA)

The STIMA division is part of the Department of Computer and Information Science. The research and teaching activities are focused on modern data analysis and the division hosts the international master's programme in Statistics and Machine Learning.
