What do you do today, and what does your work involve?

Today I鈥檓 a consultant within product development at Sigma Industry Development in Stockholm. My most recent assignment was at Scania as a component owner for the labelling solutions of their propulsion battery packs.

Why did you choose Link枚ping University and the Master's Programme in Sustainability Engineering and Management?

I was looking at various mechanical engineering masters during the final semester of my bachelor鈥檚 and I stumbled upon the one for M.Sc Sustainability Engineering and Management. The courses and aim of the masters peaked my interest as well as my personal values. As such it was a perfect match for my future career as well as my own aspirations.

What was your experience of studying and student life in Link枚ping?

It was great considering the vast student life activities, professional professors as well as collaboration with the real-world companies.

Is there a memory or experience from your time at LiU that has stayed with you?

There are a lot. Sitting in the library studying with fellow students, partaking in various sittings, my course collaboration with SweepTech and just fun discussion with professors after lectures.

How has your education helped you in your career?

It provided me with a wider scope to view product development. Now I have the tools to make sure my product fulfills the needs of the various stakeholders it will interact with, not just the user.

What advice would you give to future students considering LiU?

Make sure you take chances during your student days, apply for that organization or chase crazy ideas you have, you won鈥檛 regret it!
